Fresh strawberry, orange zest and pungent flowers on the highly perfumed nose. Juicy citrus fruit and red berry flavors are accompanied by an exotic touch of lemongrass. Finishes long, taut and precise, delivering vibrant mineral cut and a building floral note.

Tasting Notes

Color: The perfect, light, Provence pink.

Nose: A very fragrant wine with aromas of raspberry, candied strawberries, red cherry and white flowers. A hint of sea breeze minerality.

Taste: Very balanced with a freshness and roundness found in the Grenache. The minerality carries through to the palate. Refreshing flavors of pink grapefruit and watermelon.

Terroir

The Plateau (altitude 330 m), characterized by an impoverished, stony soil. This zone is reserved for the finest vintages, as its yield is limited.
Le Château (altitude 250 m), characterized by a very different type of soil, with much larger proportions of sand, a generally finer texture and less stones, producing zesty rosés. Its shallow, well-drained soil is ideal for the vines.
This mainly chalky terroir, perfect for growing numerous grape varieties, lends the wines their refreshing, mineral taste.
